Welcome to the website of the Indonesian Consulate General in Los Angeles. The Consulate covers  the state of Arizona, (Southern) California, Colorado, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and a couple of islands in the Pacific.

The Hon. Subijaksono Sujono
Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Los Angeles

Consul General Subijaksono has been with the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of
Indonesia since 1983.

Prior to his assignment as Consul General in Los Angeles, he was Secretary of Directorate
General of Protocol and Consular Affairs in the Department of Foreign Affairs, 2004 –February
2007. He also served as Director of Protocol between 2003-2004.

His previous assignments abroad were the Indonesian Embassy in Athens, Greece (1999-2003)
and the Embassy in Hanoi, both as Head of Economic Section. His first posting was in the Embassy
in Copenhagen, Denmark, also handling economic issues.

He received his Masters degree in Economics on Development Study from the Brawijaya
University, East Java, Indonesia.

He is married and has three children.
