The US is at the top list of economic partners of Indonesia. The Consulate in Los Angeles works in tandem with the Indonesian Embassy and other four Indonesian Consulates to strengthen economic and trade ties with the US. Entry points for Indonesia's export to the US are the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach and San Diego, making the West coast the substantial area contributing to the Indonesia-US economic relations. Currently, Indonesian government actively promotes deregulation and structural reform so as to create a better business environment for International prospective business partners.
